OEM Sales 

Job Description:

Build and maintain long term relationships via phone, fax, and e-mail with High Tech OEMs by providing them with solutions to their inventory management needs. This is accomplished by selling product to fill shortage requirements, negotiating and buying excess inventory, and providing accurate market data to assist their decision making process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and develop new accounts.
     
  • Manage, maintain and grow existing accounts as assigned.
     
  • Market IMS' services via telemarketing, as well as daily fax and e-mail broadcasts.
     
  • Negotiate and close business transactions.
     
  • Travel to customer sites to conduct formal presentations periodically.
     
  • Customer and market segment research as required.

Requirements: 

Must be a highly motivated, confident, self-starter with a minimum of 2 years high tech sales experience including established account base in the OEM and distribution market. Must possess excellent negotiation skills and be able to adapt to changing market conditions. Expertise within a specific market segment (i.e. memory, CPU's, computer products, ICs) is preferred. Proficiency in a second language is a strong plus, but not required.
