Essential IC announces its affiliation with IC Source.

Essential IC is proud to announce that it has joined the
thousands of independent chip brokers worldwide who know what
a valuable source of information, IC Source is. With its
membership, Essential IC will now avail itself of the
following services:
First and foremost, Essential IC has received and posted
certain programming that allows it’s customers to search
through millions of available components worldwide, right from
our website. This search capability is provided to our
customers in a floating frame version at www.essentialic.com/search.htm.
The visitor may enter a full or partial part number or paste
up to 10 part numbers which will be searched for
simultaneously. Other choices available are the ability to
refine or expand the search by checking exact or best match
base and/or part number. Sorting the results by the date of
the postings (most recent first) or by the quantity (largest
first). The results are provided in spreadsheet format with
the ability to check appropriate parts and quantities. Once
checked, clicking on the button marked Request for Quote
(available both on the top and the bottom of the results page)
brings up a final window in the frame where the user may
finalize the request by filling in a few identifying fields
and then sending the request by email to our sales department.
IC Source has thoughtfully provided a link that allows the
user to print the order for faxing or archiving.
Once ordered, Essential IC receives the email in moments
identifying the parts required, the source of those parts and
the contact information required to answer the customer.
This service is responsible for helping us draw more
customers and clients to our website and in return having the
ability to offer the substantial service of making needed
stock available to those customers and clients 24 hours a day,
365 days a year.
The other services this membership provides are the ability
to post the excess stock of Client OEMs in a part database
that is made available to over 2500 user/members as well as
the customers of those members who also choose to use the
search code on their site. The ability to post requirements
that are instantly emailed to every member, the management of
offers and requirements on the IC Source website and last but
not least the ability for our sales and purchasing
professionals to search through the millions of lines of
integrated circuits, semiconductors, capacitors, CPUs and
memory products available through a network of member brokers
world wide.
